The Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX is the first hearing aid built on Signia's new Multi-adaptive Xperience, or MaX, platform. Instead of using artificial intelligence for a single task like noise reduction, MaX uses four task-specific Deep Neural Networks that work together to analyze speech, background noise, the surrounding environment, and your own voice at the same time. At Fairfield County Audiology in Westport, we fit the Pure Charge&Go MaX for patients whose biggest listening challenges involve restaurants, social events, and other settings where several people are talking at once.
Built for Difficult Group Conversations
One of the hardest situations for anyone with hearing loss is following a conversation when multiple people are talking and noise is coming from every direction. Signia calls the MaX processing approach Acoustic Intelligence, a system of four Deep Neural Networks that run continuously and share information with each other. This gives the hearing aids a more complete picture of what is happening around you before deciding how to process sound.
The goal is not simply to make noisy rooms quieter, but to help you stay connected to the people you want to hear while preserving awareness of the world around you, coordinating processing between both ears as a conversation moves.
Key Features of Signia MaX
Pure Charge&Go MaX pairs its four-network AI architecture with a more powerful chip, broad connectivity, and rechargeable convenience. Here's a closer look at what the platform offers:
- RealTime Conversation Enhancement AI - Locates and enhances multiple conversation partners during dynamic group conversations.
- Own Voice Processing AI - Helps your own voice sound natural, with no in-clinic calibration required.
- Ambient Scene Adaptation AI - Continuously analyzes your environment and adapts as conditions change.
- Dynamic Noise Control AI - Adjusts noise reduction based on the type of noise and whether you're in conversation.
- Powerful New Chip - More processing power, greater efficiency, and more memory than the previous platform, keeping the AI active all day.
- OneConnect Technology - Combines Bluetooth Classic, Bluetooth LE Audio, telecoil, and Auracast-capable hardware in one device.
- Rechargeable Design - Available in eight colors with a pocket-size portable charger that stores up to four full charges.
A Note on Auracast
The Pure Charge&Go MaX includes Auracast-capable hardware, meaning it is built to connect to shared and public audio broadcasts in places like theaters, airports, and houses of worship. Signia has stated that full Auracast functionality will be enabled through a firmware update delivered by the Signia One app by March 2027. Until that update is released, this feature is not yet active, though the hardware is ready for it.
Is Signia MaX Right for You?
The Pure Charge&Go MaX may be worth considering if you want a premium rechargeable hearing aid and your toughest listening moments happen in restaurants, meetings, family gatherings, or other environments with multiple talkers and background noise. Its broad connectivity also makes it appealing if you want a device that works across current and emerging wireless audio systems. That said, the most advanced hearing aid is not automatically the best one for every person. Your hearing test results, speech-in-noise ability, ear anatomy, and listening goals all matter when selecting the right device, which is exactly what your consultation is for.
